Robert Farr
Robert Farr began his career at Roger Cherrill’s, which in time became Goldcrest Post Production. Whilst there he worked with some of the world’s leading directors and sound editors.
In 1991 he was recognised for Outstanding Achievement by the “Motion Picture Sound Editors” (MPSE) for Terry Gilliam’s “The Fisher King” and was awarded the MPSE Golden Reel for best ADR mixing on Nick Roeg’s “Samson and Delilah”. |

His more recent achievements include:
- MPSE Award for outstanding ADR Mixer on Martin Scorsese’s “The Gangs of New York”
- Emmy nomination for “The Life & Death of Peter Sellers”
- Emmy Award for “The Band of Brothers”
Having established himself as a Re-recording mixer over the past fourteen years, Robert saw an opportunity at Basillica Sound and took it over in January 2007. Robert wanted a facility that mirrored himself, a Studio offering a relaxed and flexible approach.
A Studio where Directors and Editors alike can be assured that the Art of mixing is Paramount, not the value of every minute in terms of cost.
